Application |
Descriptions:
Ammonium nitrate is a colorless crystalline solid, soluble in water.
Does not readily burn but will do so if contaminated with combustible material.
Accelerates the burning of combustible material.
Produces toxic oxides of nitrogen during combustion.
Uses:
Ammonium nitrate is commonly used in agriculture as a high-nitrogen fertilizer, especially for alkaline soil that can improve soil and fertilizer efficiency.
Ammonium nitrate is also used to produce ammonium nitrate fuel oil which has excellent performances with low use cost and thus widely used in mine exploration, construction, railway/road construction as well as medical, chemical and other fields.
Ammonium nitrate is a nutrient in producing antibiotics and yeast.
