Application

Descriptions:

  • Monopotassium phosphate (MKP) is also known as Potassium dihydrogen phosphate.

  • It is a soluble salt of potassium and the dihydrogen phosphate ion.

  • It is a source of phosphorus and potassium, also a buffering agent.

  • When used in fertilizer mixtures with urea and ammonium phosphates, it minimizes escape of ammonia by keeping the pH at a relatively low level.

Uses:

  • In agriculture, MKP is used as a high effective K and P compounds for NPK compound fertilizer. Its total nutrition content can reach to 86%, so it's widely used on fruit, vegetables, cotton and tobacco, tea and economic crops.

  • In food industry, MKP is used for the preparation of the pasta with alkaline materials, fermentation agent, flavoring agent, leavening agent dairy mild alkaline agent, yeast starter, used as buffering agent, chelating agent.

  • In medical industry, Potassium dihydrogen phosphat is used to manufacture metaphosphate.
