Application

Mode of Action:

  • Tridemorph is a ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitor, by inhibition of sterol reduction (sterol-Δ14-reductase) and isomerisation (Δ8 to Δ7-isomerase).

  • Tridemorph is a systemic fungicide with eradicant action.

  • Tridemorph can be absorbed by the leaves and roots, giving some protective action.

Usage of Tridemorph:

  • Tridemorph controls Erysiphe graminis in cereals, Mycosphaerella spp. in bananas, Corticium salmonicolor and Exobasidium vexans in tea, and Oidium heveae in hevea.

  • Tridemorph can be mixed with carbendazim to extend the spectrum of cereal diseases controlled.

Phytotoxicity of Tridemorph:

  • Scorch may occur on some winter wheat varieties under certain climatic conditions.

Compatibility of Tridemorph:

  • Tridemorph is also used with a number of other fungicides including: cyproconazole, fenbuconazole, fenpropi-morph, flusilazole, propiconazole, tebucon-azole, triadimenol.
