 Application

DESCRIPTIONs:

  • ENB is a colorless to yellowish transparent liquid chemical, with a taste of turpentine.

  • ENB has a strong distinctive odour with a low olfactory threshold and so any break of containment leading to exposure should be readily detected.

  • It's the third monomer for synthesizing EPDM rubber, the most ideal third monomer.

USEs:

  • ENB is used as a speciality monomer in the production of synthetic rubbers (EPDM rubber).

  • ENB is used only as a chemical intermediate for synthetic rubber production.

  • As a third monomer, it can get copolymer of EPDM with ethylene and propylene.

  • Obtained vulcanized rubber's speed is faster than any other third monomer, and it can be overcome the shortcoming of EPDM's slow Sulfide.

  • Therefore, it can be used as a rubber around engine; waterproof sheet materials such as plastics and the impact resistance of the modified material.
