Descriptions:
Sodium sulphate anhydrous is stable, but hygroscopic.
It's unreactive toward most oxidising or reducing agents at normal temperatures.
At high temperatures, it can be converted to sodium sulfide by carbothermal reduction.
Uses:
Sodium sulphate anhydrous is maily used in synthetic detergent as plugging compound.
Used in papermaking industry as degester.
Used in glass industry instead of soda ash.
Used in chemical industry as material of sodium sulphide, sodium silicate and other chemical products.
Used in textile industry as dyestuff.
Used in copper metallurgy, leather alcohol fibre, tanning, surface treatment and filler industries etc.
